This collection of resources to include publication/lectures/webinars will provide instruction on ultrasound imaging of the female pelvis to seek answers for a gynecologic problem or to assist in planning for surgical intervention. The applications of 2-dimensional imaging, Doppler, and 3-dimensional imaging will be explored including the benefits and improved accuracy of imaging the uterus in the coronal plane. Gynecologic diseases and pathologies will be described, and sonographic appearances will be used to characterize and classify findings. This product expires on 10/17/2025 and will be removed from your dashboard at that time.

  • Contains 14 Component(s), Includes Credits

This collection of lectures will cover the basics of diagnostic ultrasound technology including the physical principles of sound and the interaction with human tissue, the function and types of transducers, the components of ultrasound machines, and ways to maximize the image. The classifications of artifacts will also be explored, how to minimize their effect on image acquisition, and the usefulness of specific artifacts in making accurate diagnoses. A presentation of Doppler principles will provide information regarding optimization of the Doppler signal, the types and uses of Doppler, and artifacts that are specific to Doppler evaluation. An overview of the history and future of ultrasound technology will also be provided. This product expires on 10/17/2025 and will be removed from your dashboard at that time.
