Navigating the Pediatric Ankle
Learning Objective(s)
After watching this activity, jointly provided with the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), you should be able to:
- Identify the secondary ossification centers of the ankle;
- Differentiate the differences between the adult and pediatric Point-of-Care Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (POC MSKUS) images;
- Identify the stepwise approach to pediatric ultrasound; and
- Demonstrate through case studies the use of POC MSKUS in navigating the pediatric ankle.
