Jacob Sellon, MD

Dr. Sellon is the Co-Chair of the Sports Medicine Division and directs the Sports Ultrasound, Sports Regenerative Medicine, and Exertional Leg Pain practices at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. The Mayo Clinic Sports Ultrasound practice he leads was the first MSK ultrasound practice to be accredited by the AIUM, and his group has been proud to maintain continual accreditation. Dr. Sellon is board certified in both Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine and holds the RMSK Ultrasound Certification from the APCA. He was the Program Director for the Mayo Clinic Rochester PM&R Sports Medicine Fellowship for 10 years and has been training fellows and residents in Sports/MSK ultrasound for 12 years. Dr. Sellon’s research focuses on MSK ultrasound diagnostics and procedures, and he is a regular invited speaker on ultrasound topics at national conferences.
