  • Identify features of testicular torsion, including examples of torsion with preserved blood flow;
  • Recognize features of testicular/epididymal appendix torsion;
  • Detect epididymitis, orchitis, and complications such as abscess, pyocele and testicular infarct; and
  • Discuss the role of ultrasound in the setting of scrotal trauma.
